Every story text page has an ornament frame.Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (born January 27, 1832, died January 14, 1898), better known by his pen name, Lewis Carroll. He was an English writer, mathematician, logician, Anglican deacon and photographer. His most famous writings are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, which includes the poem Jabberwocky, and the poem The Hunting of the Snark, all examples of the genre of literary nonsense. He is noted for his facility at word play, logic, and fantasy. It was on one expedition, on 4 July 1862, that Dodgson invented the outline of the story that eventually became his first and greatest commercial success. Having told the story and been begged by Alice Liddell to write it down, Dodgson eventually (after much delay) presented her with a handwritten, illustrated manuscript entitled Alice's Adventures Under Ground in November 1864.Peter Sheaf Hersey Newell (born March 5, 1862, died January 15, 1924). He was an American artist and author.
