LARS DÖHMANN is a motor journalist who cares passionately about his subject. For decades his articles have been published in magazines; a freelance since 1995, he has also worked for the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Oldtimer Catalog. NORBERT SCHÄFER set up his first studio in 1965. Even then his illustrations demonstrated his love of detail and, most of all, his X-ray vision, the ability to visualize that is so indispensable for technical illustration, together with his skills at realizing spatial arrangements and perspectives from blueprints and photographs.
