Angels Flight seeks to publish work that by turns chronicles, celebrates, critiques, elevates, and reimagines the American experience. In these early decades of the 21st Century, with the United States--along with the rest of the world--facing myriad challenges on multiple fronts, Angels Flight believes that literature, with its ability to create a sense of shared community between people who might otherwise see themselves as tribes unto themselves, has never been more vital. It is our hope at Angels Flight that we will deliver fiction, poetry, essays, and memoirs to readers that will enable them to feel more closely connected to their fellow human beings, and to be reminded that we are far more alike than we are different.
