Reseña del libro

René Ariza was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1940 and died in San Francisco, California, in 1994. In 1947 he won the UNEAC (Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba) for his work in theater, the back of the apple and a year later was a finalist in the competition of the House of the Americas with its theatrical piece The Banquet. He was also an actor and a poet and narrator of vanguardistga technique and style in the decade of the 50' and 60'. After the government of his country closed the doors (1971), condemned to eight years in prison and destroyed his unpublished work. Exiled in 1970 "brought fear to the surface, was an old man who had traveled by the spiral of hell".In this book, Alejandro Lorenzo collects his best stories and writes a summary of his life. It helps us to rediscover one of the greatest literary values of Cuba and a free spirit that made her laugh and think in spite of the unjust abuse he suffered and that led to an early death.
