This poetry book was written with the hope of making a gloomy day become a little brighter. Just reading a few poems at a time will hopefully bring out the happiness in each of us. I wrote these poems to bring awareness that although life can be difficult at times, with its ups and downs, it really is beautiful and a special experience, if we just take the time to appreciate it. My core belief is that in the end everything will work out the way things are meant to be and that we need to embrace and enjoy the ride, no matter how hard at times. Everyone has struggles, but there is always something to be grateful for and lessons to be learned through these tough times. This is actually when we learn the most about ourselves and recognize what is most important in life. The poems in this book attempt to capture the way many of us may feel on a day to day basis, but with the hope of changing your mindset and becoming aware of the fact that everything will be OK in the end. These poems will hopefully add a bit of positivity into your life but also let you know that whatever you are going through, at your core you are brave, strong, beautiful, incredible and courageous.
