Mere textbook knowledge will not help you understand the markets. Markets are influenced by news and information (there is a difference). You need to know how to interpret the news with historical context. Today, the once-obscure task of stock trading has become trivial, as it is entirely electronic. For most investors, it is only slightly different from many other things they buy online. Although this book does show how to buy/sell stocks online, the stock-trading service provider you finally choose will have the best guide to their service. This book has a broader perspective.
