This book is a celebration of what a bicycle can do for a woman. It’s about personal journeys, getting fit and the freedom that comes from getting on a bike. All of the women who have contributed their stories to this book spend time supporting other women out of the goodness of their hearts, mostly through the Breeze initiative run by British Cycling. They are not elite athletes. They are not particularly famous. All however, are advocates for wider participation in cycling, women’s health and much more besides.
