She likes to travel, write poetry, draw and spend time with her grandchildren. Her passion is teaching and she refers to "Learning God's Way" as her classroom in a workbook. She now resides in Granbury, Texas. About the illustrator: Richard "Ty" Schafrath earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in drawing from Ohio State University. He worked with Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Hollywood from 1995-2002. Ty has illustrated several books and is a freelance storyboarder, painter and caricature artist. He resides in Orlando, Florida.
