Reseña del libro

Sunny is a curious and playful girl. She has thoughts and emotions that keep her preoccupied. She plays with Maya a lot, and Maya loves to play with Sunny. Sunny does not always want to play with Maya. What will Sunny choose, to continue to play with Maya, or to take some time to get to know herself better? This is a story about a little girl's self-discovery to be and bliss. Join Sunny in discovering your own inner bliss! In the Bhagavad Gita, in a translated paragraph, Krishna explains Māya briefly: "My Māya is manifested in eight forms - the earth, water, fire, air, sky, mind, intellect and ego." Krishna explains that Māya is responsible for our existence in this world, and that the experience of reality in life is perceived through filters of thoughts and emotions, and is thus illusory in nature. Beyond this material existence and experience of life lies what is popularly known as Ātma, or Consciousness. Lost in worldly affairs, or Māya, we ignore Ātma. Māya, through its illusory nature, prevents us from seeing this Truth or Consciousness. By observing that which your body and mind experience as emotions and thoughts, you begin to peel back these layers of illusion. By increasing this sense of awareness, you can choose to be conscious in your experience of life and lift these veils of Māya. To recognize the world is not the end but a means to it, and to arrive at Truth and realize Ātma is to be and bliss.
