On the occasion of a large cultural-historical special exhibition being shown in Mannheim's Reiss-Engelhorn-Museums in 2022/23, two publications provide new perspectives on the diversity of the Norman world. This volume of essays, which will be accompanied by an exhibition catalogue, offers the results of the international research conference, which took place in autumn 2020 as part of the exhibition and research project in Mannheim, and summarizes the latest research. This volume brings together international perspectives and approaches from different academic disciplines.
