Reseña del libro

This delightful collection of poems was written by a man who lived in Gomersal, West Yorkshire between 1907 and 1988. He was a coal merchant and ice cream seller turn by turn about, according to the season. As such he was always out in the open air and was a great observer of nature. He knew his local history and also had a great interest in the American pioneers, settlers and their Red Indian neighbours. All these figure in his poetry. As a local history document this is invaluable. The poems were given to the Fewster family by Wilf and in 2012 Mrs Fewster decided to publish them to raise funds for the church roof. This is a new paperback edition and all funds from its sale will go to the same church funds.
