Reseña del libro

After eleven-year-old Jesse and his father move from Florida to the tiny town of Woodview, Kansas, the boy expects to see his first snow for the holidays. But when his father leaves on a business trip the week before Christmas, Jesse’s dad takes the boy to stay with a family friend, and the sky still hasn’t dropped a single flake. As Jesse spends the lonely hours sketching, he spots Fallon, a girl from school, outside the window. Curious about why she disappears into the town cemetery every day, he sneaks out to discover her secret, and over the next several days, the pair becomes unlikely friends. However, there is still no snow, and as Jesse tries to stay positive about his broken family—and his physical disability—he realizes that Fallon is struggling with similar problems of her own. "Roscoe" is a story of hope, self-discovery, and a fox. And, although Christmas turns out nothing like Jesse had imagined, he and Fallon find something much more valuable: the true meaning of family.
