Reseña del libro

Sally, a schoolteacher at a girl’s private school, happily married, comfortably off, a good social life, living in an idyllic part of the country when suddenly, just before reaching 40 years of age tragedy strikes. Finding herself alone she tries to come to terms with her new situation, she seeks solace in drinking large amounts of red wine, smoking far too many large handmade cigars, two passions she’s indulged in for years but never to excess, when one warm summer evening lying on her hammock on her patio she realises she has to break her circle of despair. She hands in her notice at school and what follows is a series of adventures; having always been sexually conservative she suddenly finds feelings she never knew she had, her inhibitions disappear and she allows herself to be willingly seduced by one of her previous students and forms a ménage a trois with her best friends.Having invested in a camper van, she travels around Europe and seemingly around every corner there is an adventure waiting to happen, sometimes with quite unexpected, funny and spectacular consequences. Her journey of self-discovery however comes to an abrupt end, but she wouldn’t have missed one minute of it and neither should you!
