In 2010 Monica's youngest daughter, Hannah, asked for a schnauzer puppy for Christmas. They found a nice family in the country who had schnauzer puppies. Hannah was surprised and very excited! Because schnauzers are a German breed, Hannah decided to name her new puppy "Schatzie", which means "sweet girl" or "sweetheart" in German. Schatzie has been a very big part of our family. All of the stories in the "schatzie the shaggy schnauzer" series are actual events that have happened through the years. Schatzie loves her family and going outside to play with her animal friends.
