Beswick gives us a look at controversial Masonic figures such as Count Cagliostro and Emanuel Swedenborg and places them in context with European Grand Bodies and leaders. The "Swedenborg Rite" along with European Grand Masters, Scottish Rite Grand Commanders and the times they existed are examined in this well written study.
