Tabare es una obra conjunta del poeta uruguayo Juan Zorrilla de San Martin y el compositor español Tomas Breton. Se trata de un drama lirico que narra la lucha de los charruas, pueblo indigena de Uruguay, contra la conquista española en el siglo XVI.
