Reseña del libro

This short book presents the conflict between the engineering world and the medical world, seen through the eyes of a young doctor.Starting from a brief description of artificial intelligence and going through various examples of its applications, both in the medical field and in the non-hospital setting, we will come to discuss the limits of the new technologies, those of the medical class, their conflict, the ways in which to solve it and, above all, the possible future of their coexistence.I will refer to ancient characters (Aristotle, Plato, Caesar, T. More,...) and modern ones (Kubrick, Fermi, Einstein, Asimov, Gordon, Kurzweil, Hawking, Musk, LeCun, Zuckerberg, Ng, Yang,...) , dealing with medical, engineering, philosophical and ethical issues, many of which will be controversial (the Turing test, the Social Credit System, the Singularity, Roko's Basilisk, UBI,...) all starting from my medical education and my experience at the University of Siena.
