Reseña del libro

This is an account of the unexpected in the lives of two young boys and how they coped with the inevitable decisions they had to make and were made for them. The first book encompasses a year in their lives during the 1980s where they lived in the Southern Indian State of Kerala, when Jack discovers his aunt is surreptitiously disinheriting his family. Kate, their cousin, is instrumental in assuaging the darker forces of the underworld invoked by their aunt by using her emerging powers of consciousness. The second book, set two years later, continues their challenges. Both Matty and Jack endure terrible experiences in their physical world and sometimes dangerous forces from the otherworld. As the diversity of both the ancient cultures of India and Ireland weave together, Jack and Matty find themselves not only acknowledging but having to accept help from a race of spirit beings.
