Reseña del libro

The book explores the Radical Theology of Paul in relation to Christian Scripture. The study argues that six of the letters ascribed to Paul (formerly Saul of Tarsus) in the New Testament were at worst forgeries, or at best had been subjected to redaction to bring them into line with conventional Roman society (i.e. a paterfamilias household), particularly with respect to the convert’s attitude towards slavery, gender and ethnicity. In other words, the reader must search for the historical Paul from the biblical Paul, as found in the pastoral letters 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus), 2 Thessalonians, and Ephesians and Colossians.
