Reseña del libro

The Rise and Fall of Paradise Two major religious ideologies have dominated the human story to date. The earliest, the religion of Paradise, began when ancient astronomers realized that an order exists that governs the universe. The seven planets embodying this order became the world's first gods and remain so still in classical pantheons. The Paradise ideology was dedicated to fostering the universal order, a mission that gained added momentum when Paradise--the ordered universe--was discovered to also exist on the Earth. Archaeological artifacts show that this was well known by 40,000 BCE. In 6,000 BCE, a new religion arose. Founded on man's divinely endorsed right to exert control over the Earth, its worldview diverged from the earlier belief that held much of the Earth to be sacred. The Bible named the conflict between them the "war in Heaven" and documented the overthrow, or the "loss," of the Paradise religion in the event widely known as the Fall. The ancient theology was subsequently declared to be pagan and heretical, an evaluation that remains current to this day.
