A bear lives near a small pond in the Madrid Zoo in Spain. His name is Sweet Mellow Bear because he loves eating all the delicious candy the visiting children throw him. One day, an old pal, the Tangly Spider, offers to free Sweet Mellow Bear from his cage. Once he is free, Sweet Mellow Bear and his gang of friends embark on an adventure that lands them in New York City- in the United Nations building to be exact, where the current topic of discussion is Animal Rights.
