Reseña del libro

The Way I Walk: The Music of Jack Scott tells how the Canadian-born son of an Italian immigrant grew up to become one of the leading rockabilly voices of the era and how he got lost in the shuffle as the music continued to evolve. As Scott racked up hit after hit, deejays flipped his records over and his B-sides also climbed the charts. During 1958, all six sides of his three singles scored in the top 100 with two of them being top ten and a third side topped out at number 11. Canada claims Scott as its "greatest rock and roll singer of all time," however, he was a Detroiter by the time his hits began rolling in. Other artists with far fewer recording achievements found their way into the R&R HOF, but Scott continues to be ignored. What in the World's Come Over You; Burning Bridges; Goodbye Baby; The Way I Walk; Go Wild Little Sadie; Leroy; Geraldine, My True Love, are but a few of his classic early rockers. You may not recognize his name but you certainly know his songs!
