Reseña del libro

We all want to lead a life of excellence: an honest life; a creative life; a generous life; a life that, when it is over, leaves a monument of good memories. For millennia, religion claimed the role of gate-keeper on the path to that well-lived life. Why do we exist? How should we behave? How shall we cope with death? The old answer was to read scripture or talk to your priest, rabbi, imam or pastor.Today there are many for whom religion is not a part of daily life. These are the folks that pollsters and sociologists like to call "Nones". For us, the old answers don't work, but the questions remain. In this book we look for secular answers for the well-lived life; answers that don't require us to accept a dogma, and preferably, answers supported by contemporary science. With them we can thrive, beyond belief.
