This book tackles a subject that is bound to get people's hackles up from its title alone. However, readers should give it a chance. Especially in today's social climate, just admitting one has racist thoughts (or has been guilty of such in the past) can be enough to end up in social exile. But it's something everyone is guilty of to some degree, even if they don't mean to be. Tribalism is ingrained in us.
