Reseña del libro

Is salvation only for the Jews? That is the question Luke, a Greek, is determined to answer. As a physician and beloved townsman, he is drawn into the growing movement of first century Christians. His first encounter with Saul of Tarsus is unpleasant. Luke considers him disagreeable and xenophobic. After completing his medical education at the Alexandrian School of Medicine, Luke's second encounter with Saul, now calling himself Paul, changes his life forever. As Paul's physician, Luke goes with him as he takes the Gospel to the cities of the Greek world. He also finds the answer to his original question. Encouraged now by Jesus' mother, he writes down Jesus' story, and takes it with him as he journeys around the Mediterranean. He soon discovers that the power of the pen, may be even stronger than the sword.
