Anabel Hernández (Ciudad de México, 1971) es una destacada periodista de investigación mexicana, reconocida por su valentía al exponer temas como el narcotráfico, la corrupción y las violaciones de derechos humanos. Con más de tres décadas de carrera, ha desentrañado las complejas redes entre el crimen organizado y el poder político en México. Entre sus obras más influyentes destacan Los señores del narco (2010), La verdadera noche de Iguala (2016) y El traidor (2019). Su libro más reciente, La Historia Secreta: AMLO y el Cártel de Sinaloa (2024), ha generado un intenso debate al explorar las presuntas conexiones entre el gobierno actual y el narcotráfico.

A lo largo de su trayectoria, ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos, como el Premio Nacional de Periodismo (2001), el Golden Pen of Freedom (2012) y la Legión de Honor de Francia (2017).
