Almost every player has performed above their expected level, thus laying the foundations for the team to have such a successful run in the Premier League. In particular, Sterling, Suarez and Gerrard, each one in their own task, have simply excelled, to a surprising extent, and in one moment or another led the team to success.Surprise after surprise, only the final culmination has been elusive to Liverpool FC in 2013/2014.
