Have you ever heard of the "Stand Your Ground" law? Does the name Trayvon Martin ring a bell in your head? It's sad that for over thirty years in Florida, the "Fleeing Felon Law" was in effect. No matter the circumstance, if a Police Officer knew or thought someone was a felon or had committed a felony, they could shoot and kill them. This applied even if the person was running away from them. Yes, even in the back.,
