Remington (Remi) Winchester and Colton (Colt) Braxton were dating when they were younger and she became pregnant. They became engaged. On their wedding day, however, Colt never showed up. Remi wanted to open her own realty office, so Kinkaid, (Remi's father), sent her to Wyoming with a realty office he set up for her and her own home. Michael Winchester helped Remi get the business started and they soon fell in love and married. Six months after Remi moved to Wyoming, Sierra was born. She tried calling Colt, but to no avail. Eighteen years later, Sierra decided she wanted to live near her grandparents and go to college. Remi and Michael agreed that they would move back, too, to be near her parents and with Sierra, but she had no clue about what she was getting herself into. Colt, with Sierra working with him, helped to get Remi exonerated of his murder.
