Corruption, which has become one of the painful problems of mankind, is undoubtedly one of the consequences of nihilism and extremism, and sometimes acts as an accomplice to terrorism. The monograph gives an idea of the diversity of corruption, its prevalence across countries and continents, the legal and organizational foundations of anti-corruption at the global, regional and domestic levels, comparison of signs of corruption in Russia and the USA, introduces readers to the basics of anti-corruption in the Russian Federation, the dual role of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation in the anti-corruption system in Russia and the state of international cooperation in the field of anti-corruption. The author has little hope that this book can contribute to reducing the incidence of corruption through the implementation by states and private individuals of well-known anti-corruption mechanisms.
