Bob Gale (University City, Misuri, 1951) es un guionista, productor y escritor de historietas estadounidense, célebre por coescribir junto a Robert Zemeckis la trilogía Regreso al Futuro (1985, 1989, 1990), considerada un hito del cine de ciencia ficción y comedia. Su trabajo en la primera entrega le valió una nominación al Óscar al Mejor Guion Original en 1986. Gale también participó en películas como 1941 (1979), Used Cars (1980) y Interstate 60 (2002), esta última como director. En el ámbito del cómic, ha escrito para series como Daredevil (2001) y The Amazing Spider-Man (2008) para Marvel, así como para Batman: No Man’s Land (1999) en DC Comics.

Además de su labor en cine y cómics, Gale ha sido defensor de preservar la integridad de Regreso al Futuro, rechazando propuestas para una cuarta entrega y enfocándose en proyectos como Back to the Future: The Musical (2020), adaptación teatral de la saga.
