SHARE HEALTH WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE DEARLY AND WHO LOVES LIFE. What do USP isolated vitamins/minerals, chemically extracted herbal extracts, and 'flavour of the week' healing compounds really have to do with being healthy and promoting lifelong wellness, anyway? Do we even know what will happen when we consume these chemical/'natural' substances? Natural health products are being discovered regularly, accompanied with incredible claims such as 'anti-aging', 'anti-inflammatory' and even more ludicrous 'cure' and 'miracle', all while packaged beautifully and marketed aggressively. Yet through all of the 'noise', it occurred to me years ago, that one of, if not perhaps the most important 'health compound' ever discovered, has been talked about ad nauseam, yet at the same time, ignored completely. Although Ant-Aging Medicine continues to be my lifelong passion, Chronic Disease such as Heart Disease, Diabetes, Alzheimer's Disease, Cancer have directly and dramatically affected me on a personal level, much as it has for many. During my studies, I made an important connection between Inflammation, Sugar/Energy Metabolism, our Stress Response, and Chronic Diseases pretty much across the board. HEALTH, is a layman style narrative, hoping to offer the next best thing to me having a personal conversation with you, sharing the very best tools, tips, and strategies I've learned while studying Naturopathic Medicine and working within the natural health industry; an industry which I love dearly. My aspiration is that by the time you are finished reading this book, I will have highlighted some of the best that the industry and profession alike have to offer, helping to inspire savvy natural health lifestyle and buying decisions.
