nondestructive testing (ndt) has grown considerably since the original edition was published. there are now many schools offering courses in ndt. improvements in computer speed, memory capacity, and software have also grown exponentially, leading to the development of more advanced ndt instruments and systems with improved monitors, sensors, software analysis, viewing and imaging programs. the new edition will be completely updated with: 1. two new chapters on laser testing methods along with new chapters thermal/infrared testing and vibration analysis method will be added. 2. holography was originally mentioned in my chapter on the visual inspection method. holography is now covered as a laser testing method along with shearography and profilometry. 3. 1st edition published 7/87 sold 2821 copies - price $140.00
