Escritora feminista británica, colabora con The Guardian entre otras publicaciones. Fundó la página web Everyday Sexism Project en abril de 2012. Su primer libro, Everyday Sexism, se publicó en 2014. Previamente trabajó como actriz y niñera, un periodo en el que experimentó el sexismo en las audiciones y descubrió que las niñas que cuidaba estaban demasiado preocupadas por su imagen.
