Remarkable Psalms of faith from George Fox, whose profound experience of God's presence and direction led him to declare: Now was I come up in spirit through the flaming sword into the paradise of God. All things were new, and all the creation gave another smell unto me than before, beyond what words can utter. I knew nothing but pureness, and innocency, and righteousness, being renewed up into the image of God by Christ Jesus, so that I say I was come up to the state of Adam which he was in before he fell. The material for this small volume comes from Fox's Journal and from his epistles, which are considered by many readers as classics of devotional literature and pastoral advice. Though slightly altered by T.H.S. Wallace to make them into verse format, the content is still Fox.
