Gloria has received much of her people knowledge on the streets of Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas, where she has nurtured people who were in despair and needed direction. She says, "It is important that every person look over their life starting from childhood, when we were very sensitive. Things may have been crucial and some hard to forget like bodily harm, ridicule because of failure, and rejection just to name a few.
