At eight years old, Kia learns that she will never be able to have the relationship with her father as she did before September 11. She comes to the realization that saying goodbye to someone you love who has died doesn't mean you are forgetting them. She concludes that she can always have her father with her through her memories of him and the spirit in which he lived. Kia discovers that love is the bridge that keeps us connected to our love ones forever.
