Danny Meyer, nacido el 14 de marzo de 1958 en San Luis, Misuri, es un renombrado restaurador estadounidense y fundador del Union Square Hospitality Group. En 1985, a los 27 años, inauguró su primer restaurante, Union Square Cafe, en Nueva York, marcando el inicio de una destacada carrera en la industria de la hospitalidad.

Además de su éxito en la restauración, Meyer ha incursionado en la escritura culinaria.
