Tomáš Halík (Praga, 1 de junio de 1948) es un sacerdote católico, filósofo y profesor universitario checo. Durante el régimen comunista, fue ordenado sacerdote en la clandestinidad en 1978 y trabajó en la "Iglesia subterránea", colaborando estrechamente con el cardenal Tomášek. Tras la caída del comunismo, se convirtió en asesor del presidente Václav Havel y fue Secretario General de la Conferencia de Obispos Checa (1990-1993).

Es profesor de sociología en la Universidad Carolina de Praga, capellán de la capilla universitaria y presidente de la Academia Cristiana Checa desde 1990. Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "Paciencia con Dios" (2009) y "Quiero que seas" (2016), ambas pertenecientes al género de la teología y la filosofía religiosa. En 2014, fue galardonado con el Premio Templeton por sus contribuciones al diálogo interreligioso y su labor en la promoción de la comprensión entre diferentes culturas y religiones.
