Together they must overcome, not only the vast cultural divide that exists between them, but also the consequence of a high prince's grief and subsequent cataclysmic loss of faith. Dr S. Fern is a writer of dark fantasy and hard science fiction. He published his first fantasy novel, Pandemonium Ascendant, in 2014. This wasw followed by Paragon of Order in 2017. Following several positive reviews he has further expanded his fantasy world in The Barbarian and the Angel. Drawing inspiration from the early weird fantasy and horror writers of the last century, as well as modern society, Dr Fern's writing tends not to follow standard plot lines; the boundaries between right and wrong, and good and evil, can become very blurred indeed.
