These monologues for women are taken from speeches by Britain's most prominent black dramatists, including Barry Reckord, Lydia Adetunji, Roy Williams, Courttia Newland, Errol John, Ade Solanke, Trevor Rhone, Inua Ellams, Biyi Bandele, and Arinze Kene.
