TJ Klune (Travis John Klune) nació el 20 de mayo de 1982 en Roseburg, Oregón. Es un autor estadounidense reconocido por combinar fantasía, romance y drama en sus historias, destacándose especialmente en la literatura LGBTQ+. Su trabajo se caracteriza por un mensaje positivo sobre la aceptación y por la profundidad emocional de sus personajes, muchos de los cuales exploran la diversidad sexual, la neurodiversidad y la asexualidad, aspectos que el propio autor ha abordado a lo largo de su vida.

A lo largo de su carrera, Klune ha recibido numerosos premios y reconocimientos: Ganador del Lambda Literary Award por Mejor Romance Gay con Into This River I Drown (2014).
