A certain standardization has now been introduced into the operative techniques of vascular surgery after the stormy developments of the last few decades. It is to make the knowledge gained in those years more widely available that this operative manual Vascular Surgery has been compiled. It contains contributions from numerous authors at European centers of vascular surgery.
