It covers the nature of the liturgy, the Mass and Breviary, the seasons of the liturgical year, and the history of liturgical development. This Catechism is a short read, and in large print. It is also describes the liturgy as it was in 1919, before the 1955 changes, so those accustomed to the 1962 Missal will notice some differences. Sacerdote católico estadounidense, teólogo, filósofo tomista y exorcista. Obtuvo licenciaturas en teología y filosofía en la Universidad de San Francisco, y dos maestrías: una en filosofía por el Centro de Estudios Tomistas de la Universidad de St. Thomas en Houston, Texas, y otra en teología por el Holy Apostles College and Seminary en Cromwell, Connecticut. Fue ordenado sacerdote en 1997 como miembro de la Fraternidad Sacerdotal de San Pedro (FSSP) y posteriormente fundó la Sociedad de la Madre Dolorosa (Doloran Fathers) en la Arquidiócesis de Denver. El padre Ripperger es autor de varias obras en el ámbito de la teología y la espiritualidad católica. Sus obras abordan temas como la liberación espiritual, la guerra espiritual y la salud mental desde una perspectiva católica tradicional.
