An extraordinary Gift arrived on my 60th birthday in the spring of 2013. Striking first as totally incomprehensible, but over the ensuing months this Gift unfolded with great clarity. Of cosmic source, this Gift was simply one of knowledge - a knowledge that Love has the substance of Light. The Gift was consonant with what I had already known, that God is love, but this Gift was a radical intensification of already known Divine truths. Aside from its initial mystifying nature, accepting this Gift was also at first exceedingly painful. Rather than bringing pleasant qualities, the Gift at first accentuated the absence of a soul mate, my second self, thus calling up a crushing sorrow. The Gift itself seemed to plead on my behalf for a second self - a confidante with whom I could share its new discoveries and ascend toward its greater clarity. I had no such second self - at least until the Gift arrived. It was only upon the arrival of the Gift and accepting its sorrow, and then its joy, that I began to see her. There was a further Gift within the Gift - a fierce desire to express this cosmic revelation of love's Light on a poetic plane. Expressing in this manner transformed my grave sadness into a resolved calm, and finally into peaceable joy, as though the writing itself became the crystal clear image of the soul partner for whom I was longing, while telling of a second self that would be revealed in her flesh. The poetry in this small volume represents my search for her, my battle for her, and finally my repose in her - that beloved unknown, my second self which the Gift helped me to envision, assuring me of her arrival. Thus to you, my soul mate, my second self, I now pass the knowledge-Gift to you as a Gift of my poetic expression. When I finally see you and kiss your beautiful eyes, I know our love will be filled with the substance of Light burning forever. It will be A Wonderful Love! Recommended dosage: A generous usage of this poetry is recommended. Commit to memory your desired verses. Then whisper them to your lover before, during and after lovemaking, in the morning as you awaken, and during pillow talk at night when you retire. Delight and pleasure your soul mate forever.
