Daniel Barber es un educador, formador de docentes y autor británico especializado en la enseñanza del inglés como lengua extranjera. Con más de 20 años de experiencia, ha impartido clases en México, el Reino Unido y España. Actualmente reside en Cádiz, donde cofundó una escuela de idiomas y formación docente. Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran Perspectives (2017), una serie de National Geographic Learning que integra habilidades lingüísticas con pensamiento crítico y charlas TED, y From English Teacher to Learner Coach (2014), coescrita con Duncan Foord, que promueve un enfoque de coaching en la enseñanza del inglés.

Barber también ha contribuido a series como The Big Picture y Personal Best, publicadas por Richmond Publishing. Sus intereses profesionales incluyen la motivación en el aprendizaje, la neuroeducación y el desarrollo de la autonomía del estudiante.
