Reseña del libro "Airports: Comparing America's LAX to Thailand's BKK (en Inglés)"
What is wrong with airports across the U.S.A.? Flying on commercial airliners used to be a time of joy and pleasure. It was sometimes romantic, adventurous, and exciting, especially for children. Airports were comfortable social greeting places for family and friends. These times were both happy and sad. They were pre 9-11. Unexpectedly, passengers are now confronted with new and dreadful emotions which have invaded airports across the U.S.A. and spread like fast growing cancer. This story is about two very different country's reaction to modern security in the aftermath of the terrorist events on September 11, 2001. It is about two airports among the most important in the world and how they treat their users. One of the airports handles passenger's comfort and happiness in high standard and as a very important part of their culture. The other one went astray and fell to the bottom of passenger's satisfaction, contentment, and well-being. This book offers suggestions of bringing U.S. airports back to a high level of passenger comfort as they once were and make commercial flying enjoyable and safe for everyone once again.
