Katrina Gormley es escritora y editora freelance especializada en materiales para la enseñanza del inglés como lengua extranjera (ELT), con un título en Español (BA Hons) por la Universidad de Strathclyde y un Máster en Educación por la Open University. Desde 1991 ha enseñado en España, el Reino Unido y Grecia, y desde 2001 trabaja como examinadora para la certificación ECCE de Michigan y elabora contenidos educativos que equilibran rigor pedagógico y atractivo visual.

Ha coescrito varios libros de texto con enfoques modernos y visuales, como los de la serie “Wonderful World” (niveles primarios), “Close-Up” (nivel B1–B2) y los cuadernos de ejercicios Idiomatic (ediciones recientes de Oxford University Press). No parece haber recibido premios literarios o académicos específicos, pero su carrera refleja un impacto sólido y sostenido en el campo de la enseñanza del inglés.
