This volume contains the definitive Ancient Greek text of J.L. Heiberg (1883), together with an English translation. Finally, a helpful Greek/English lexicon explaining Ancient Greek mathematical jargon is appended. Volume I contains Books 1-4, and covers the fundamentals of straight-line and circular geometry, the fundamentals of geometric algebra, and rectilinear figures inscribed in and circumscribed about circles.
