She also gives advice to new competitors in the barrel racing industry; along with young riders who are anxious to get to that 1D time. She also discusses your mental game. Wendy Winn section includes her clinic flyer, at her ranch (in Kansas), in November. Due to running behind with this October issue of the Florida Equine Athlete, there is one month (October) of barrel racing and roping dates for Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. I do strongly advise calling, to verify, the event(s) before hauling to make sure it is a go, if rescheduled; or, if have a location change. I do not always find out about cancellations, reschedules, etc. If I do find any information changes in time, I will update it on the barrel racing schedule of events link and/or the Roping Schedule of Events link for that specific week it is scheduled, at floridaequineathlete.com.
